Solar Installation Service Areas
Smart Solar Energy installs solar panels, inverters and battery storage across Melbourne's south-east and regional Victoria. Every install is completed by CEC-accredited electricians, with a 25-year panel warranty, a 10-year inverter warranty, and your STC rebate deducted before you pay.
Suburbs we cover
Each area has its own housing stock, roof types and switchboard age, and those things change what an install involves. The pages below cover what to expect in each.

Location changes what we find on site, not how we work. Consultation and assessment, a fixed quote with your rebate applied, grid connection paperwork handled for you, then installation and ongoing monitoring.

Frequently asked questions
Do you charge extra for travel outside Melbourne?
Not within our regular south-east service area. For regional Victorian jobs a travel component may apply depending on distance, and it is shown in your quote rather than added afterwards.
Does the rebate change depending on my suburb?
No. All of Victoria sits in STC Zone 4, so the certificate rate is identical across Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston, Berwick and everywhere else in the state. Your entitlement varies with system size and install year, not location. See our rebate guide.
How soon can you attend a site assessment?
Within our core service area, assessments are usually booked within a week. Regional bookings depend on where we are working that fortnight.
My suburb isn't listed — do you still cover it?
Very likely. The suburbs listed are where we work most often, not the limit of where we install. Send us your address and we'll confirm.
Send us your address and average usage, and you'll get a fixed installed price with your rebate applied.
