How long does the whole solar installation process take?
From first consultation to a working system, most residential jobs run four to eight weeks. The installation itself is usually a single day. The bulk of that timeline is grid connection approval with your distributor, which sits outside our control but is handled entirely by us.
Do I need to apply for approvals myself?
No. We lodge the grid connection application with your distributor and handle council requirements where they apply. You are not chasing paperwork or following up with anyone.
What happens during the site assessment?
We check roof orientation, shading through the day, available space, and switchboard condition. Older switchboards sometimes need an upgrade before a system can be connected, and it is better to know that before you commit than after.
Is the quote fixed or does it change later?
The quote is fixed after the site assessment, with your STC rebate already deducted. Variations only arise if you change the system after quoting.
What support do I get after installation?
